The word Carioca, which designates people born in Rio de Janeiro (or more commonly the inhabitants of the Cidade Maravilhosa).
But being “Carioca” is a way of life, it's the culture of spontaneity. It's changing your mind, changing your attitude when you feel like it. It is to live without obligations. To be Carioca is to be natural and to admire nature. It's sleeping in without rushing to live. No rush, no commitment...it's just a feeling. It is to be able to contemplate the beauty of being and of their presence. To be Carioca is to live in the moment and trust your own instincts.
